We are fortunate to be located in East Midlands, in the very Heart of the National Forest right on the doorstep of Conkers, Rosliston Forestry Centre and the Beehive Farm which accommodates campervans.. We are within easy reach of the M1, M6 and M42 motorway networks with the beautiful Peak District just a short drive away and just a couple of hours from Wales and the Lakes, (The world they say is your oyster).

Frequently Asked Questions 

Q) What happens after I have booked my dates with you? → 
A) Once we have confirmed that the dates are available we will ask you for an email address/postal address, so we can send you a booking invoice. Once the initial booking fee has been paid the dates are yours. You will get an invoice to state the full amount due 6 weeks before the hire date. 
Q) What if my travel date are less than 6 weeks away? → 
A) We would require the full amount of hire to be paid at the time of booking/confirmation. 
Q) What documents do I need? → 
A) We will need to see each driver’s full license, plus a utilities bill with an address that matches your license that’s dated within the last 3 months. We also ask you to obtain a code from the dvla to supply to us, so we can do relevant driving license checks. 
Q) What is the code for the DVLA check and how do I obtain it? → 
A) This is a code that allows you to check or share your driver information and can be easily obtained from GOV.UK website. The code is only Valid for 21 days and you will need your national insurance number, driver licence number and post code where the licence is registered. 
Q) Will I need to get my own insurance? → 
A) The rental of the van includes fully comprehensive insurance and full terms can be found in the terms and conditions on this website. Please ensure you check this and that you meet the criteria. 
Q) Is there a daily mileage limit? → 
A) The rental includes unlimited U.K only mileage based on a minimum 7 day booking - please see T+Cs which explains the terms. However we may ask what your plans are, so we have an idea of where the van may be in case of emergency or breakdowns. We also reserve the right to turn down rentals we believe may put the van at risk of being damaged or stolen or that we suspect to be used in illegal activity. 
Q) Can I take it to a festival? → 
A) We do not permit vehicle Hire for use at any festivals and the vehicle is fitted with a tracking device. We reserve the right to cancel or terminate any bookings that are being used for this without permission. 
Q) How do I pay? → 
A) We accept all major credit/debit cards or bank transfers and the details will be supplied to you on booking 
Q) What if I need to cancel? → 
A) If you cancel your trip up to 4 weeks before the agreed hire date 50% of the total hire cost paid will be refunded, if you cancel with less than 4 weeks to hire date no monies will be refunded. We recommend you take out holiday insurance that covers cancelation fee. The initial booking deposit is non-refundable 
Q) Can I smoke in the Van? → 
A) No- smoking is not permitted in the Van at any time and a £250 charge will be deducted from the deposit should any evidence of this be discovered to cover cleaning. 
Q) Are dogs allowed in the campervan? → 
A) Yes, 1 well behaved small – medium dog at no extra cost, additional dogs will be chargeable at £25 but please refrain from allowing them on seats and beds, and please never leave them unattended in the van. 
Q) Do I bring my own bedding? → 
A) Yes, please bring your own bedding and pillows 
Q) How does the electric work in the van? → 
A) the van runs via an electric hook up which we provide, we recommend a campsite with electric hook up is used where possible and advise no more than 2 nights at a time wild camping. The stove runs from Gas and a gas cannister will be provided and included in the rental price. 
Q) What fuel does the van use? → 
A) It runs off diesel and will come with a full tank which we ask you to return with a full tank please. 
Q) What if we break down? → 
A) In the unlikely event the van should breakdown, it is fully covered by a recovery company, and if the vehicle cannot be repaired roadside you will be taken to a destination of your choice until the van is repaired. 
Q) What happens if I have an accident/collision in the van? → 
A) We ask that you let us know straight away and if the accident is reportable also notify the police and take down as much details as possible but if you are unsure call us first and we can help you and inform the insurance company. 
Q) How many does the van sleep? → 
A) The van can comfotable accomadate 2 adults and 2 children or 3 small children 
Q) How many can travel in the Van → 
A) There are two seats with seatbelts in the rear and three in the front (including the driver) So a maximum of 5 in total 
Q) Do I have to sign a contract? → 
A) We ask you to sign a copy of the Ts & Cs on the day of hire, so we know you have read and accepted them, we also will do a walk around with you with an inventory of any damage or contents before and after hire.

Terms and Conditions of booking and hire 

This agreement is made between Dubbin Dayz Ltd and the Hirers signing the rental agreement. 
Dubbin Dayz Ltd hires the vehicle to you subject to this rental agreement. You the hirer are accepting these terms and conditions as part of the booking process. These are available on our website, accepted and sent to you at the time of your booking and signed by you at the point of vehicle collection. We permit you to use the vehicle on the terms and conditions of this rental agreement only. 
Definitions of Terms and Conditions 
"The Hirer/you" refers jointly and severally to the person or persons who are named on the rental agreement. 
"This Agreement'" means the Rental Agreement, the insurance Motor Rental Agreement and these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms and Conditions and any other literature, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall apply. 
"Rental Period" means the dates and times set out in the Rental Agreement or any agreed variation thereof and any additional period during which the vehicle is in the Hirers possession or control. 
"Us/we" Means Dubbin Dayz Ltd 
"Vehicle" means the vehicle described under the heading "Vehicle Details" in the Rental Agreement and includes tyres, tools, accessories, the equipment and any other special equipment, documents related to the Vehicle and any replacement or substitute Vehicle that may be provided at the discretion of Dubbin Dayz Ltd 
"Security Deposit" means the Vehicle security deposit detailed under the heading "Vehicle Security Deposit" in the Rental Agreement. 
Bookings, payments 
Bookings can be made on our website, over the phone or in person. A deposit of 20% of the booking total is payable at point of booking to secure the dates, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the hire start date. Payments can be made using any of the cards displayed on our website. All prices shown are in GBP 
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the hirer. No refund will be given for cancellation by the hirer, if the cancellation is within 6 weeks of the rental period start date. Cancelations greater than 6 weeks from the hire start day will be fully refunded minus the non-refundable deposit. Any kind of voucher purchased is non-refundable. 
Unforeseen cancellation by us 
In the unfortunate event that we do not have a vehicle available for hire due to theft, breakdown or the vehicle has been damaged and undrivable, we will fully refund all monies paid but will not be held liable for any other missed functions, costs or losses. 
Security Deposit 
A security deposit of £500 will be taken at the point of collection. This must be paid by the hirers credit card or BACS. Cash is not accepted. If payment is made by BACS, the security deposit funds must be cleared before the start of the rental period. The security deposit will be released/refunded within 5 working days of the end of rental period providing the terms and conditions of the rental are met, subject to final audit. 
Should any damage or loss exceed the security deposit the hirer will be responsible in settling the additional costs, similarly if any damages do not exceed the security deposit Dubbin Dayz Ltd will only charge for the necessary amount. 
Driver age and licences 
All drivers must be between 25-75 years of age and have held a UK/EU licence for a minimum of 2 years with less than 6 penalty points, with a maximum of 3 points per conviction. Any driving conviction and/or accidents within the last 5 years regardless of fault must be declared at the time of booking, the hirer must not have been involved in more than 1 fault incident within the last 3 years. Has not obtained a BA, DD or UT conviction. It is also required that all drivers declare their occupation at the time of booking, this is for insurance purposes. 
Driver Identification 
All drivers must provide the following, which must be provided no later than 4 weeks prior to the hire start date. 
NB These documents need to be dated within 90 days of the hire date to satisfy our insurers: 
. A scanned copy of your photo card driving licence (for each driver). 
· A DVLA licence check code so we can view licence details before you arrive (for each driver). Click here for instructions on how to do this. 
· Two other proofs of address (for each driver) that show the document date, your name and address which must also match your driving licence. 
The following only are acceptable: 
2 Different utility bills from this list (gas, electric, water, satellite television, landline phone bill) 
1 Utility bill from this list (gas, electric, water, satellite television, landline phone bill) 
1 Bank or credit card statement 
When you collect the vehicle, you must bring along your photocard driving licence. Dubbin Dayz Ltd cannot be held responsible for any lost holiday time as a result of you not bringing the correct documentation. 
Please note that the vehicle is not insured outside the contract of hire. 
Additional drivers 
If you wish to add an additional driver, all drivers must be agreed and included in the rental agreement prior to the start of the rental period. The insurance of the vehicle will automatically be void should anybody drive the vehicle who is not named on the rental agreement. 
Our vehicles are supplied to you with fully comprehensive insurance. Should an insurance claim be made by us or a third party, we will use the hirers security deposit to cover the excess. If the incident involves a third party and it is proven at a later date by the insurers that the hirer is at fault. The hirer will be fully liable, and we reserve the right to charge the hirers credit card up to the value of the security deposit. Any insurance cover or waiver is automatically void should any of the following scenarios occur: 
If the driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol 
If the vehicle is driven off-road, or driven without due care and attention 
If the vehicle is driven by anyone other than those named on the rental agreement 
If the vehicle is carrying more than 4 passengers, this excludes the driver 
Any damage caused by an unauthorised third party towing the vehicle away 
If the vehicle has not been adequately locked or secured 
If any of the terms and conditions in this rental agreement have been breached 
In this event, the hirer will be held fully liable for all costs up to the full amount of the vehicle for any damages or losses which may exceed your deposit. 
Fines and Liability 
The hirer is responsible for any penalties/fines including parking fines, tolls and speeding tickets during the rental period. You also authorise your personal data to be passed on to any company/government body if requested. 
Full UK & EU breakdown cover is included in your rental agreement (subject to there being no hirer negligence or any breaches in these terms and conditions). In the event the van is undrivable and cannot be fixed at the roadside or a reasonable amount of time, you will be taken back to the camp or recovered back to us. We will attempt to provide you with a replacement van, however, should this not be possible, Dubbin Dayz Ltd will reimburse the hire cost for the days lost. Dubbin Dayz Ltd will not be held liable for any other missed functions, costs or losses. We recommend that you check your travel insurance to make sure all eventualities are covered. 
In the event of any accident, loss or damage arising out of the use of the vehicle, the Hirer will notify Dubbin Dayz Ltd immediately, 
Regardless of fault it is important that you take the following action: 
Stop as soon as possible, in a safe place. If anybody has been injured, call the police and ambulance service. Make a quick sketch of the direction and final position of each vehicle. 
You will need to make a note of: 
The vehicle registration number, name and address of any other drivers involved in the accident. 
The number of passengers in each vehicle. 
The name and address of anyone who is injured (or suggesting they have been injured). 
The name and address of any witnesses to the accident. 
The name, number and constabulary of any police officer who attends the accident. 
If you are able to do so, try and take photographs to support the positions of the vehicles and the extent of damage. You must give your own details to anyone who has reasonable grounds for requesting them. DO NOT admit responsibility, either verbally or in writing. Instead, simply supply your details along with our policy number to the other driver(s)/person(s) involved in the accident and ask him/her to call the claims advisors on…………………... By passing these details to the other person(s) involved in the accident you will give him/her the opportunity of obtaining assistance in progressing repairs and assisting with the provision of a courtesy vehicle if the circumstances of the accident warrant this. If for any reason you have not been able to exchange details with other drivers or owners of property, or you were in collision with an animal, you must report the accident to the police as soon as possible and certainly within 24 hours of the accident. 
Also, the Hirer will complete a European accident report form as relevant, not make any admission of liability to other parties, settlement offer or other like offer. 
The Hirer undertakes to assist Dubbin Dayz Ltd in handling any claim arising from any event, including providing all relevant information and attending Court to give evidence. 
Personal Travel Insurance 
It is the hirer’s responsibility to provide their own insurance to cover all eventualities including lost holiday time, personal items and belongings, and personal injury in the event of an accident. Any persons that use the elevated roof including children do so at their own risk. Dubbin Dayz will not be liable for accidents or injurys caused whilst in use. 
Collection & return of vehicle 
You acknowledge and agree that the vehicle hired to you is in a roadworthy and full operating condition with no damage, mechanical or otherwise unless stated on the issued condition diagram. You also acknowledge that the condition diagram accurately reflects the condition of the vehicle. A strict £50/hour penalty will be charged for returning the vehicle late, without prior agreement. If Dubbin Dayz Ltd grants an extension of the vehicle hire this must be paid for in full immediately by credit or debit card. Dubbin Dayz Ltd will then send you a new rental agreement detailing an extension. Failure to obtain an authorised extension will result in a lapse of insurance cover and you will be deemed liable, plus additional late fees for unauthorised use. Should the vehicle not be returned by the time and date on the rental agreement, it may be treated as stolen and reported to the police. Should the vehicle be returned early no refund will be given. You are welcome to leave your vehicle at our property, but we shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss. 
Use of the Vehicle 
The Vehicle is not to be driven otherwise than in a cautious, prudent and normal manner; used in a manner which could cause damage; driven in a prohibited area or in an area other than the areas indicated to me by Dubbin Dayz Ltd; driven by a person under the influence of alcohol or drugs or with a blood alcohol level in excess of that permitted by law; left with the ignition key in the vehicle while it is unoccupied; 
steering lock applied and valuables concealed; damaged by submersion in water; put into contact with Salt Water; used for any illegal purpose for any race, rally or contest; used to tow any vehicle or trailer; used to carry passengers or property for hire or reward; used to carry volatile liquids, gases, explosives or other corrosive or inflammable material; or otherwise used in breach of the Hirers obligations under this Agreement. 
The Hirer shall take all reasonable steps to properly maintain the Vehicle, including oil checks and water, and acknowledge that Dubbin Dayz Ltd will reimburse the Hirer for expenditure up to £100 reasonably incurred in rectifying any mechanical failure to the engine of the Vehicle, provided that the Hirer produces relevant receipts at the end of the hire period and have received the prior consent from Dubbin Dayz Ltd and that the damage is not due to any fault or by breach of this Agreement of the Hirer. 
Alterations to the Vehicle 
The Hirer shall not make any alterations or additions to the Vehicle without the prior written consent of Dubbin Dayz Ltd 
The Hirer will not allow anyone to smoke in the vehicle as Dubbin Dayz Ltd has a no smoking policy in all of their vehicles. A valeting charge will be incurred by the Hirer if this policy is ignored. 
We welcome pets. Pets must be disclosed at the point of booking, and only pets that we confirm are acceptable may be brought into the vehicle. We do not allow dogs/cats to be on the seats or beds. All damage, however caused by your pets, will be charged to you. You undertake to comply with current law concerning the carriage of animals when travelling in the vehicle at all times. Pets must never be left alone or unsupervised in the vehicle. 
Theft or loss of the vehicle 
You must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the vehicle is secure. If it is discovered that you were negligent in any way to cause the theft or loss of the vehicle, you will be held fully liable and Dubbin Dayz Ltd will hold you fully accountable up to the full cost of a replacement vehicle. 
Damage to the vehicle 
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as at the time and date at the start rental period. The hirer will be fully liable for all damages, which may exceed your deposit. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that signed condition diagram accurately represents the condition of the vehicle. Damages and losses include but are not limited to: 
Any scratch, scuff, chip or dent on the vehicle bodywork 
Any scratch, scuff or chip on the alloy wheels 
Any tyre damage including punctures 
Window and windscreen damage 
Any damage to the pop top roof or its operation 
Burnt out clutch 
Damage caused by insufficient engine oil level 
Damage caused by insufficient engine coolant levels 
Damage caused to fitted units and doors through negligence 
Damage caused to seats, interior or floor through negligence 
Hire vouchers can be purchased through Dubbin Dayz Ltd, these are non-refundable and expire 12 months from the purchase date. Note that our hire prices can change without notice depending on availability and time of year. Prices shown at the time of voucher purchase shall be honoured. 
Do’s and Don’ts 
Any accidents or damage through failing to abide to the list of do’s and don’ts will be treated as negligence and you will be held fully liable. 
•Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle, any evidence found of this being breached will result in a fine of £250 being deducted from your security deposit. We pride ourselves in keeping our vehicles in top condition. 
The vehicle must only be used on tarmac roads. 
The van must be returned in the same clean condition as at the start of the rental period, this includes all cooking utensils and appliances. 
Do not use any gas appliance to heat the van under any circumstances, carbon monoxide fumes can be fatal. 
Open all windows and side door whilst cooking. 
Turn the gas off at the tap on the gas cylinder when not in use. 
All training and instruction will be given prior to you leaving our premises on how to operate/use all items/equipment in the vehicle. 
Make sure that the pop top roof is fastened and secure before driving away. Failure to do this can result in costly damage to the roof and vehicle. 
Make sure that the hook-up lead has been disconnected from the vehicle before driving away. 
Fuel policy 
All of our vehicles are diesel and must be returned with the same amount of fuel as it was hired out to you, which will be noted on the rental agreement. An administration fee of £15 plus the cost of refilling will be applied if necessary. 
Release and Indemnity of Dubbin Dayz Ltd 
Subject to its obligation to deliver the Vehicle or an appropriate substitute vehicle, the Hirer releases Dubbin Dayz Ltd, its employees and agents, from any liability to the Hirer (regardless of who is at fault) for any loss or damage incurred by the Hirer by reason of this Agreement, including but not limited to any loss or damage caused by breakdown, mechanical defect, accident or the Vehicle being unsuitable for the hirer's purpose, any loss or damage to any property left in or on the Vehicle, in any service vehicle or on any Dubbin Dayz Ltd premises or recovered or handled by Dubbn Dayz Ltd. Subject to any insurance arrangements agreed with Dubbin Dayz Ltd, the Hirer hereby indemnifies and shall keep indemnified Dubbin Dayz Ltd, its employees and agents against any claims, demands and expenses (including legal costs) incurred or sustained by them or any of them by reason of the hirer's use and/or possession of the Vehicle. 
Please note 
Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and must be signed on behalf of Dubbin Dayz Ltd and by the Hirer. 
This agreement shall be governed by English Law. 
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties and there are no other oral undertakings, warranties or agreements between the parties relating to the subject matter of this agreement. Dubbin dayz Ltd reserves the right to add or amend any rental charges without prior notice.
